Your Estate Needs You!
Would you like to volunteer to keep the estate such a beautiful place to live?
Maintaining the biological and physical environment of our estate is a never ending task. Some of the work we contract out, such as grass cutting, tree felling and major “engineering works”, and a lot of work is undertaken by our part-time groundsmen.
A portion of the levy allocated to the environment pays for this work, but it only goes so far, and we have a small team of dedicated residents who help to keep the estate in good condition. This work ranges from litter picking, removing ivy and growth from the bases of trees, maintaining rockeries, and the removal of raspberry canes through to the larger projects we undertake periodically or during environment days.
Would you like to join our volunteer team?
We are looking to increase the number of able-bodied residents we can call on supplement the current team.
The type of task we will be aiming to undertake over the winter includes general tidying, clearing fallen branches, edging and resurfacing pathways, removing piles of ivy and clearing reeds from the bottom of the loch.
There would be no obligation to participate in all tasks, just those where you might be able to give some of your time.
We have an active What’sApp group which is used to call on volunteers and to coordinate work.
If you would like to volunteer, please click the button below to send us an email with your name, address and mobile number (If you don’t use What’sApp but would like to participate, let us know that too!)
We look forward to hearing from you!
