Ukraine Appeal
We are all aware of the emerging and worsening crisis in Ukraine and appreciate that people may like to help in any way that they can.
Members of the committee will be at the clubhouse to collect donations on Sunday from 1pm until 4pm and will then work with local charities to have these items make their way to where the support is needed most.
We are only able to take the following specific good quality items at the moment:
Nappies,Wipes, Children’s Colouring Books, Crayons, Pencils Baby food – (cannot contain meat or milk for border control)
Large Blankets/Sleeping Bags
First Aid Items – Bandages, Antiseptic Wipes/Wash, sterilising tablets
Protein Bars
Dry food such as pasta, rice, tea and biscuits
New socks, pants and vests
Toiletries – toothbrushes, toothpaste, bars of soap, roll on deodorant (not aerosol), Sanitary pads, tampons
Unfortunately we are unable to take financial donations however a number of charities are available including - Unicef (Unicef.org.uk) and The Red Cross (donate.redcross.org.uk/Ukraine)
